Paris Hilton isn’t just the pop culture icon you think you know. In a rare, exclusive interview about her new film INFINITE ICON: A VISUAL MEMOIR, she opens up about the pain, the healing, and the fierce love that has shaped her journey. This isn’t the Paris of tabloid headlines – it’s the Paris who survived, thrived, and now stands as a beacon for resilience and authenticity.

“I really never gave myself credit for what I survived”

The early 2000s were brutal for Paris. She recalls the media’s cruelty with a raw honesty that cuts through the glam. “It was extremely painful and the media was so cruel in the 2000s, especially to young women. And it was very, very difficult. It makes me emotional even thinking about it.” But rather than letting that define her, Paris used it as fuel. “I feel like I really never gave myself credit for what I survived because it was extremely painful.”

Her story is a reminder that no matter what the world throws at you, your past doesn’t have to define you. “What people think of you and try to put shame on you does not define who you are. And that no matter what happens to you in your life, that you can become who you want to be and you can follow your dreams.”

A love letter to her LGBTQ+ fans

Paris’s connection with her LGBTQ+ fans is more than just admiration – it’s a lifeline. “My fans are everything to me and especially that community. And that’s why I dedicated a whole chapter to let them know how much love I feel from them and how they’ve healed me in so many ways.” The film itself became a cathartic experience for Paris, a healing space where she could give back the love she’s received. “I just this movie has just been such, so cathartic, such a healing experience. And I’m so excited for the fans to see it and to let them know and so they can see just how deeply I love them and how much their love and support has meant to me.”

“I love now that I’m able to create these amazing spaces and bring people into my world where they can come to my shows and my parties and my concerts and feel that love and that safety and have so much fun.”

Icons who shaped an icon

Behind every icon is a constellation of inspirations. For Paris, it’s a blend of fierce female energy and pop royalty. “I’ve always loved Madonna. Just growing up since I was a little girl, she was such an inspiration.” And then there’s Britney – “she’s like a sister to me. And she is the princess of pop and has always inspired me and my mom, of course.”

Healing through music and authenticity

Music is more than a soundtrack for Paris, it’s a healer. “Just how healing music can be because it really has healed my life so much.” The film INFINITE ICON is a visual memoir that captures this journey of healing and self-acceptance. It’s a story of resilience told through art, music, and the unbreakable bond with her fans.

Paris’s message is clear: love conquers all. “Love is something that can conquer all of that.”
